Blazer breaks ground on Augusta Woods

Spring, Texas — November 2018 — Blazer has broken ground on the construction of Augusta Woods, a new luxury four-story 55+, active-adult community. The 180-unit property is located near the intersection of Augusta Pines Drive and Kuykendahl Road in Spring, Texas.

Augusta Woods will offer multiple one and two-bedroom floorplans ranging from 700 square feet to 1,149 square feet with rents starting around $1,100. Residents will enjoy quality finishes as each apartment will feature stone countertops, island kitchens, tile backsplashes, and wood-style flooring. Each apartment homes will be accessed via climate-controlled and elevator-served interior corridors.

Minutes from The Woodlands, Augusta Woods will feature over 10,000 square feet of amenity space for residents to enjoy including a spacious club room, game and media space, fitness center, cardio room, community gardens, salon/spa and a demonstration kitchen. The community will host a variety of interactive activities and events throughout each month from fitness, creative and cooking classes to trips and group social events all designed to promote resident engagement.

Houston-based Blazer has built over 34,000 apartment homes across twelve states. Blazer currently operates 3,700 apartment homes in twenty-seven properties, including 1,700 55+/active-adult apartment homes. Mucasey & Associates designed the Augusta Woods project with construction financing provided through Amegy Bank. Units will be ready for occupancy by the second quarter of 2019.
